Our Lifestyle

Fun at the Lake

Matt is a pharmacist at a local hospital close to our home. Donna is a CPA and has lent her expertise across various industries, including public accounting, manufacturing, and publishing. With plans to embrace full-time motherhood in the future, Donna eagerly anticipates the opportunity to focus on nurturing our growing family.

Outside of our professional lives, we love spending time outdoors. Hiking, biking, fishing, and golfing are cherished pastimes that allow us to unwind and connect with nature. Our passion for outdoor adventures extends to our hopes of instilling the same love for nature in our future child. We look forward to teaching our child how to ride a bike, cast a line, and explore the wonders of the wilderness.

Faith is also important to us, as we attend church services every Sunday, finding strength in our shared beliefs.

Our Family Traditions

Lost in a Corn Maze!

Our family treasures a variety of traditions that bring us joy and create lasting memories together.

Summertime is marked by lively gatherings with our family, where we host cookouts and friendly competitions. We have fun preparing food together and getting the table set with snacks and drinks for everyone to enjoy. Games like bocce ball, cornhole, and giant Jenga add even more fun to our gatherings.

As autumn rolls in, we venture to local farms for classic fall activities like hayrides, pumpkin patches, and navigating corn mazes with Donna's sister Gina and their cousins. We love decorating our home and front yard for every holiday, especially Halloween and Christmas. We spend Thanksgiving and Christmas at Donna's parents' house, surrounded by family and friends.

Every year we look forward to these traditions and we can't wait to create fun and loving memories with our child during the holidays.

Our Pup, Cookie

Cookie

We have a three year old Yorkshire Terrier named Cookie. He is a loveable, affectionate, and energetic puppy. Cookie is not just a pet; he's a beloved member of our family. Caring for Cookie has been a wonderful journey, teaching us valuable lessons in responsibility and patience. Matt is dedicated to Cookie's well-being, attending training classes and ensuring he receives regular vet check-ups. We cherish our walks with Cookie through our friendly neighborhood, where he eagerly interacts with children and furry friends alike, spreading smiles wherever he goes. Cookie enjoys wearing clothes, and has an outfit for every holiday. Everyone in the neighborhood looks forward to seeing his Halloween costume.

Our House and Neighborhood

Our Home at Halloween

We reside in a welcoming, family-oriented neighborhood nestled in rural Pennsylvania.

Our charming two-story home has a spacious layout, including a walk-out basement and large backyard—a perfect spot for a swing set and outdoor adventures. Whether it's relaxing on the patio or enjoying the tranquility of our front porch rocking chairs, our home provides warmth and comfort.

Enjoying the Deck

Within minutes, we can explore the beauty of several state parks, enjoying hikes and fishing excursions. Access to reputable schools and our parish church further enriches our community experience.

We have friendly neighbors, with children playing in yards and riding bikes throughout the development.

We look forward to community events, such as trick-or-treating on Halloween, where our neighborhood goes all out to decorate and hand out candy.

Proximity to amusement parks, water parks, and ski lodges ensures year-round excitement and endless opportunities for family fun. We're thrilled at the prospect of sharing these cherished experiences with our future child.

Our Extended Families

Family Time

Our families hold a special place in our hearts, and we're incredibly close-knit. Donna's parents are our neighbors, living right next door, while her sister Gina resides just down the street in our neighborhood. We're fortunate to share meals together throughout the week, with Sundays being a cherished tradition at Donna's parents' home. Meanwhile, Matt's parents live about an hour away but eagerly make the trip to spend weekends with us, often exploring local farmers' markets, having cookouts, and venturing on hikes in nearby parks. Our parents are supportive and excited at the prospect of welcoming a new grandchild into the family fold, ready to shower them with love and create countless cherished memories.

Matt & His Dad Hiking

Weekend adventures with family are a highlight for us, whether it's exploring amusement parks or strolling through botanical gardens with Donna's sister, Gina. Matt's brother, Andrew, lives a half-hour away, where we enjoy visiting our adorable niece and enjoying leisurely paddle boat rides on the nearby lake. Both Gina and Andrew are thrilled at the thought of becoming an aunt and uncle to our future child, eagerly anticipating the joy and love they'll share in their life.

Family is the cornerstone of our lives, and we can't wait to see our family blossom and grow with the addition of a child.

From Us to You

We want to express our deepest gratitude for considering adoption for your precious child, and for taking the time to learn more about us. As we embark on this journey, we understand the weight of the decision before you, and we want you to know that we approach adoption with immense love, respect, and unwavering commitment.

We met through an online dating service, where our shared interests and values quickly sparked a connection. After five wonderful years of marriage, our bond continues to grow stronger each day. Matt works as a dedicated pharmacist at a local hospital, where he provides excellent patient care. He has worked in every setting from providing NICU care to emergency room care. He does yearly safety training and is CPR certified. Donna is a CPA who works from home, and has lent her expertise across various industries, including public accounting, manufacturing, and publishing. As we eagerly anticipate the arrival of our first child, Donna plans to transition to full-time stay-at-home motherhood, ensuring our child receives the love, care, and attention they deserve.

The decision to expand our family through adoption has been one filled with hope, excitement, and heartfelt anticipation. Donna's family includes two cousins who were adopted, with whom we are still close. One of Donna's close friends also embarked on their own adoption journey through an international program. While we have not yet experienced the joys of parenthood, our hearts overflow with love and readiness to welcome a child into our lives. We dream of bedtime stories, family adventures, and moments of laughter that will fill our home with warmth and joy. We are committed to providing a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment where our child can flourish and thrive.

We want to assure you that your child will be cherished beyond measure. They will be surrounded by a loving network of family and friends who are eagerly awaiting their arrival. Our extended family is a constant source of love, support, and laughter, and they cannot wait to welcome a new member into our fold. Our community is filled with opportunities for growth, exploration, and endless adventures, ensuring that your child will have every opportunity to pursue their passions and dreams.

We recognize and honor the profound decision you are making for your child. Your courage, strength, and selflessness are truly admirable, and we are humbled by your consideration of adoption. We want you to know that we are here to support you every step of the way. We are happy to send email updates with pictures and stories. We are committed to speaking highly of you and ensuring that your role in our child's life is honored and celebrated as we share their adoption story with them. Our commitment to honesty and respect will guide our relationship, should you choose us as adoptive parents.

We want to express our deepest appreciation for the opportunity to share our story with you. We understand the importance of finding the right match for your child, and we are honored to be considered. We want you to know that your child will be loved unconditionally and cherished beyond measure in our home. We are committed to providing a lifetime of love, support, and opportunity, and we look forward to the possibility of welcoming your child into our family.

With heartfelt gratitude,

Matt & Donna
